Many Web Meeting applications allow web meeting participants to share application software.   This sharing of applications is extremely useful when collaborating with others over the Internet.

For example, software vendors can share their applications with potential customers.  After giving the customer a quick demo of the software application, the vendor can then give control of the application to the customer and allow  him/her to take it for a "test drive".

On application that is frequently shared during web meetings is the web browser (e.g. Internet Explorer).  This is useful when one meeting participant wants to walk others through a new web application or to demo a competitor's website.

When planning your web meetings and web conferences, consider how you can leverage this valuable Web Conferencing functionality.
